They mainly get their SP back from skill level decreases. Are arans/evans/DBs going to get SP resets? or will they just depend on the skill point compensated based on certain skill level? (e.g. Blessing of the Onyx max lvl is reduced from 30->25, so 5 skill points will be returned).
Nope. Will there be any alternative to view the drops of monsters outside of the Codex? For those monsters that don't have an entry in it, be it those from the areas mentioned or special areas that usually don't have entries (PQs, etc).
How does this work in combination with Holy Symbol? Does this effect also apply if you have people that leech from you in order to obtain bonus experience? The Knight Stronghold is filled with party play areas, which will be familiar to many players who have explored Lion King's Castle before. When defeating enemies in these party play areas, you gain 50% bonus EXP for every extra member you have in your party who are present, up to 250% bonus EXP for a party of six.
"Lastly, I'd like to use this opportunity to give a huge shout-out to our beta testers - without their invaluable help, we would not be able to deliver an update of this quality."about the update can you guys make a test server that will allow us to test the updates before they go live ?
If you're asking if there's anything that might nullify the +50% bonus experience, there isn't, you'll always get that. How does this work in combination with Holy Symbol? Does this effect also apply if you have people that leech from you in order to obtain bonus experience?
That's the case.If you're asking if there's anything that might nullify the +50% bonus experience, there isn't, you'll always get that.
I'd imagine that bonus experience is applied directly to the monster's experience (instead of giving 200k, it'd give 700k in a full party) before it processes the rest of the formula (party levels, HS, etc) but I'm honestly not sure and can't seem to find anything that gives me a clue to how that extra experience is handled.
It seems pretty clear that having people leech here, even without HS, will give a ton more experience.
The exp split is 80/20 here.So assuming my math is correct, if a monster at LHC gives 200k experience (Crokies give roughly that), your experience when you're in a party giving leech to 5 people (all your level, note that it'll be more if they are below your level and vice versa) with HS is:
200000 - Solo
290400 - Party with HS
489133 - Party with HS + 1 Leecher
630000 - Party with HS + 2 Leechers
765000 - Party with HS + 3 Leechers
910000 - Party with HS + 4 Leechers
200000 * (1 + 0 * 0.5) * (0.6 + 0.4 * 150 / 150) * 1 * 1
200000 * (1 + 1 * 0.5) * (0.6 + 0.4 * 150 / 300) * 1.1 * 1.1
200000 * (1 + 2 * 0.5) * (0.6 + 0.4 * 150 / 450) * 1.15 * 1.45
200000 * (1 + 3 * 0.5) * (0.6 + 0.4 * 150 / 600) * 1.2 * 1.5
200000 * (1 + 4 * 0.5) * (0.6 + 0.4 * 150 / 750) * 1.25 * 1.5
200000 * (1 + 5 * 0.5) * (0.6 + 0.4 * 150 / 900) * 1.3 * 1.5
(MonsterExp * (1 + Leechers# * 0.5)) * (0.6 + 0.4 * YourLevel / PartyLevel) * PartyBonusExp * HS
Where PartyLevel is the combined level of the party, PartyBonusExp is the bonus from having people in a party (1.1 for 2 people, then +0.05 with each extra person) and HS might not be 100% correct, not sure exactly.
Oh yeah, and without HS:
200000 - Solo
264000 - 1 Leecher
337333 - 2 Leechers
420000 - 3 Leechers
510000 - 4 Leechers
606666 - 5 Leechers
From the experiments I did, we're at 60/40.The exp split is 80/20 here.
