Hi Croosaders!

The time has finally come for another version jump. While all of the version updates we do are highly anticipated, this one is special in that it will forever change the game in many respects that have come to be associated with Big Bang servers. The main attraction will surely be the Legends classes, but there is also other new content such as Monster Park; Party Quests scale with the party level now, and UI changes such as Quick Move have been introduced.

Like last time, check out the second post in this thread for a very detailed list of changes.

Unless some sort of show-stopper happens, the update will be released on March 9th in the (UTC) evening. It's currently looking like the maintenance will begin at 22:00 UTC, and it is expected to take between 1 and 2 hours to complete.

If you want to patch the game to v105 already, we're providing a pre-patcher (link removed - the real v105 client is out) in order to do so. Make sure to copy your v100 folder before you run it if you don't want to lose access to Croosade until the update.
Alternatively, you can of course have the normal client run you through the patching process, which should be possible shortly after we start the maintenance.

As usual, thanks go to our beta testers for their help in getting this update ready to ship!

Sincere regards and Happy Mapling,
The Croosade Team

  • For Cathedral weddings, the bride-to-be must then talk to High Priest John. The bride-to-be must then talk to Gary and Shatima to say lines of commitment . The bride-to be then must talk to High Priest John again.
  • Depending on the type of wedding you're getting, talk to the wedding assistant or chapel staff and pay a fee to enter the wedding hall.
  • Invited guests can talk to the wedding assistant to enter the wedding, or they can double-click the invitation in the Etc tab of their item inventory.
  • Invited guests arrive in a map where they can gift items to the bride and groom, buy bridesmaids' dresses or groomsmen's suits, or enter or leave the wedding.
  • Talk to the assistant in the wedding hall to begin the wedding ceremony.
  • When you are ready, speak to the photo specialist.

  • Married players can exchange their engagement rings for their wedding rings through Jacob.
  • Married players can pay a meso fee to Pila Presnt in order to get an annulment.

Automated Events

We have finally found some time to work on automated events while updating! Russian Roulette and Bomberman will rotate every 6 hours and everyone will have a chance to participate! All you have to do is type @event to join! The winners will rewarded with a prize. Good luck and have fun!

Monster Spawn Changes

More monsters means more fun! Given that Maplestory is a game of grinding and GMS-like spawns are rather lack-luster, a change was needed. Such an overhaul is not expected to go 100% as intended especially due to the fact this was not how the game was created. So we will be monitoring and making adjustments to maps as we go along. We hope that the game feels more engaging to all!

Gachapon and Cubes

  • Gachapon has been updated.
  • Universal drops (Gachapon and cubes) have had a change in the way the rate works. The higher the monster level, the higher the drop rate will be. We will not give specifics about rate changes per mob level. The rate increase still starts at level 101.
  • It was decided that we hold off on Legendary potentials. In the current state of the game, it is an unnecessary buff.

Other

  • All players who had completed the 1st job advancement at the time of release will obtain a free Full SP Reset Scroll upon login.
  • Re-buy is now legitimately added to the client.
  • The EXP penalty that took place uniformly upon death has been changed. The penalty received now depends on the character's level.
  • In the Mu Lung: Practice Field: Beginner map, you can now hang on a flagpole to rest.
  • NPC Dr. Pepper in Omega Sector's Silo now sells Pet Food and Revitalizer.
  • The Dimensional Mirror NPC's appearance has been changed.
  • The default movement speed for player characters has been increased by 20%.
  • A Danger Zone Taxi has been added to Omega Sector. It will take you to Ludibrium for a fee of mesos.
  • The increased attack power granted by passive skills will be shown on the Character Stat window.

  • Updated GPQ rewards.
  • Check the Server Changes thread for Croosade-specific bug fixes.
Tablets have been revamped.

Great work here for sure!! Yay
  • It was decided that we hold off on Legendary potentials. In the current state of the game, it is an unnecessary buff.
Only disagreement here. A lot of classes need it, otherwise not worth sadly. Like no enhancement equip, fine; but no legendary tier makes the game a bit slow for many classes not named DB or Mercedes... :sigh...

EDIT: you also got rid of decent SI, decent adv bless, decent combat orders... like a big non-gms like move here.. but okay....

  • Demon Cry (Master Level: 20): Attacks enemies around you. At max level: HP Cost: 500, Fury Cost: 60, Damage 210%, Number of Attacks: 5, Max Enemies Hit: 15. For 15 sec: Enemy ATT and DEF -15%, Enemy ACC -15%, EXP and item drop rate +20%. Requires a Mastery Book.

  • Wealth Acquisition Potion.
Are these things that will affect cubes and gacha? (Like Taunt apparently does, as I believe has been confirmed before.)

Just a few questions that were not answered in the patch notes. (LF> legendary tier potential zzzzz)

-Is the OZ bug where she disappears fixed in this patch?

-Did you guys fix the 1k trait limit when un-learning/re-learning professions? (that was done in GMS).

-Since this server doesn't have legendary tier potential, but some jobs like DS, mercedes, and DBs have skills that give +boss damage % in addition to potential, what about other classes that relied or needed legendary potential to keep up with those classes in this patch?

-is that rates for 21/24% gear better? Cause right now rolling 18/21/24% feels next to impossible. There's some people with 27% unique gear, oh! super fair! xD

-Will demon cry exp + drop buff be working upon release?

-Alchemy potions such as resistance potions, exp, and drop potions will work upon release or are they dummy items

That's why legendary pot would've been a nice addition for those who just started playing or who didn't farm en masse before the prime line change was implemented in v100. Would've balanced things out a bit better between older players and newer players/less rigorous farmers, but meh....

At the same time, most of our gear is currently being replaced, so while some people still hold lots of 24~27% from before v100, they aren't as worthwhile as the new gear (which isn't that inaccessible), which we all have to cube ourselves right now.
